JME Fellowship
The Jewish Medical Ethics Fellowship offers graduate students in medicine and health science fields the chance to explore the ancient wisdom of Jewish teachings in light of contemporary medical ethics.
A select group of fellows will join 4 classes on topics including: genetics and reproductive technology, difficult treatment decisions, organ donation and end-of-life issues.
Classes will be taught by local Jewish educators and will be held on or near campus during the Spring semester, between January and March. Exam schedules will be taken into consideration, where possible.
Dinner will be served, and this might just be the best dinner/study break you take all week!
“JME Fellowship helped me connect my career in medicine to my lifelong journey of Jewish faith. It also taught me practical strategies in helping Jewish patients who are facing personal health decisions.”
“This course gave me the chance to examine a variety of ethical issues in medicine in light of Jewish philosophy…I loved the relaxed environment, and learning with peers and teachers from diverse backgrounds.”
